Dr. Anna Enright is a psychiatric clinical nurse specialist in private practice in Danvers, MA. Her specialty is working with young adults but her practice spans the ages of 17-70. Anna also consults with athletes and athletic teams around issues of mental training for success.
Dr. Enright received both her BSN and MSN from Boston College in Chestnut Hill, MA. Her concentration in the masters program was psychiatric nursing. She received her Doctor of Nursing Practice from MGH Institute of Health Professions in Boston, MA. Her doctoral focus was in mitigating stress with mindfulness in the emerging adult population. Dr. Enright has additional clinical training in positive psychology and mindfulness based therapies.
Dr. Enright has worked in various psychiatric settings including adolescent inpatient and residential day treatment for the chronically mentally ill. She transitioned to outpatient mental health in 1993 and worked in the mental health department at Harvard Vanguard Medical Associates until her move to private practice in 2008. Her mindfulness training and daily practice have greatly influenced her work. More recently, her work with athletes and young adults around stress management has been a particular area of interest.
